I’ve spent over 15 years ideating in creative rooms (as copywriter and lead creative), solving challenges on set (as producer and director), and fine-tuning cuts no one else will notice in the editing suite. Over countless campaigns and launches, I’ve helped agencies and clients create great work from concept to delivery across automotive, lifestyle, cosmetics, food stuffs and pharma.
My work earned Gold and Silver Effies, a European Music Award for best music video, and other humbling trophies that proudly sit on my parents’ mantle. The statues are shiny and they’re the only proof my folks have that I didn’t make a mistake by not pursuing law or something more light-hearted like proctology or a career in the CIA.
Various side hustles over the years include writing and creative producing a spy thriller for Netflix, writing for TV and film, directing short films that have screened at major film festivals such as Cannes, NYMoMA, Rome, and SXSW, translating testimonies for the Shoah Foundation, and being a contributing writer at Flaunt Magazine.
Admittedly, I’m not as brilliant as Marcel Proust (1871–1922), best known for In Search of Lost Time, but I am much more physically active and think one can tell a great story in 30 seconds just as well.
